The memory
Of a group of ordinary ten year old boys
At Thurso swimming pool
Some of us from the Atomic Authority estate
Some from the council houses towards Scrabster
Some from private houses
Some from rural villages
Discussing Armageddon
And the matter of fact assertion
That none of us would live to see twenty one

Ah, but those were simpler days
